Jayne says goodbye to an old friend, Robert Guillaume

Robert passed away at the age of 89. Best known for his TV series "Benson" but outstanding in his celestial performance in Phantom of the Opera. But of course best known among children and young millennial as the voice of Rafiki in Disney's The Lion King. Jayne worked with Robert on many occasions over the years which began with her presentation to him as the winner of The Peoples Choice Awards in his first year of Benson. Later Jayne guest starred in two episodes of the series in shows that were written by her husband, Bill Overton. Pictured here recently with Robert at Louis Gossett Jrs' birthday party in Malibu.
