Savannah Overton on her trip to Senegal, West Africa, "I have waited for this day my whole life
Education First: DC Public Schools Service Abroad Summer programs for 8th and 11th grade students studying a foreign language. This incredible 13-day learning experience is Savannah's second year with Education First. Last year she served as a travel ambassador taking 17 students to Lima, Peru to climb the mountains and visit the ancient city of Macchu Pichu. This trip to Dakar, Ghoree Island and Ndianda, Senegal fulfills a dream come true not only for the students but for Savannah as well.
