Bobby Brown Receives the Heroes and Legends Award

Jayne on hand at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills for the HAL Awards (Heroes and Legends) as Bobby Brown receives the Smokey Robinson Legacy Award. Others honorees were: Dennis Edwards of the Temptations, El DeBArge, Tony! Toni, Tone!, Brenda Halloway, Barbara Morrison, The Dramatics, and Andy Skurow. Ray Parker Jr. served as host with additional entertainment by Tommy Davidson, Thelma Houston, Willie Tyler and CJ Emmons. Berry Gordy honored the passing for his life-long right arm, Edna Anderson-Owens, by presenting the first annual scholarship in her name to Lyric Ontiveros.
