"Only six months after arriving in Hollywood I found myself with Bob Hope as one of the Hollywood Deb Stars - half way around the world. One of 200 shows sent by the Department of Defense to entertain our troops, They also provided the C-141 aircraft to fly us to: Hawaii, Wake Island, Okinawa, U-Ta-Pao, U-Ban, Long Bihn, DaNang, Bangkok, Rota Naval Base, Torrejon Air Base, Guantanamo Naval Base and finally the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs.
